Olga has been in the travel industry for 17 years. After earning a degree in Economics, Management and Business, specialising in Tourism and Hospitality Management, she chose to build a career defined by genuine passion and dedication to the industry.

Her career began at a major Moscow tour operator, where Olga worked her way up from an operations consultant to Head of Department. This solid foundation later helped her successfully transition into the MICE segment at one of the Moscow region’s landmark hotels. She then gained unique experience at a travel-tech startup, helping develop Russia’s largest B2B platform for charter travel programmes.
“I’m a certified diver and a passionate skier. I love broadening my horizons through travel, while at the same time remaining a true admirer of classic elegance.
And there’s another passion of mine — driving. I absolutely love being behind the wheel, and even Moscow traffic feels more like a pleasure than a source of stress. Sometimes I think I was simply born with this skill — as if my mother was handed my driving licence along with me at the maternity hospital,”

Olga laughs.

“I also met my husband thanks to the travel industry, and today we are raising our teenage son together. I’m proud to be the face of some of the world’s finest hotels and DMCs, representing their interests in our great country.”

In 2024, Olga joined the MMA Consulting team, having realised that the hotel business was where her true passion lay. For her, representing international partners is the perfect combination of her love for people and travel, and the opportunity to put her years of experience, expertise and professional network to work — helping partners strengthen their presence and position in the Russian market.

MMA Consulting is more than just a place to work for me. It’s a team that feels like family — a group of very different people, each with their own story and personality, and each incredibly interesting in their own way.

Tourism has been part of my life since childhood. It was our family business, and I grew up surrounded by it. My journey with MMA Consulting began in 2018, and over the years it has become much more than just a career — it’s a path I’ve consciously chosen and one that feels truly close to my heart.

I’m a qualified English teacher. Although I never actually worked in the profession, English comes in handy every single day and makes communicating with the world so much easier and more enjoyable.

In my free time, I love getting lost in a good book. For me, reading is the perfect way to slow down after a busy day, discover new ideas, see familiar things from a different perspective, and simply enjoy some time to myself — in good company.

At work, I try to combine attention to detail, efficiency, a strong focus on quality, and a touch of creativity — always striving to keep the right balance.

I fell in love with hospitality in University, when I passed an interview and got an internship at a leading hotel chain in beautiful and blooming Crete back in 2007.

I’m from St. Petersburg, have a higher education in tourism and hospitality. In tourism industry for more than 15 years in various companies in different positions including travel agencies, MICE and event agencies, mostly worked at leading hotels in Greece.

Over the years, I have gained a diverse experience and an inner understanding of the work of the hotel and hospitality, and I am delighted to use my knowledge to successfully promote ROBINSON hotels on the Russian market.

I love decor, photography and art, especially Italian artists and Russian composers. Didn't find me not at home? Look for me at the Bolshoi.

I adore Venice and my native St. Petersburg as the most beautiful cities in the world.

“I still remember the day I first walked through the doors of the Faculty of Cultural Studies… It was more than twenty years ago — it feels like a lifetime!”

Back then, we studied everything from the pyramids of Egypt to the traditions of modern Europe. And there were so many languages to master: English, Spanish… and even Latin, which our heroine had to take an incredible SIX times (yes, you read that right!). Just imagine the determination and patience that took!

“In my fourth year, I also spent a semester in Spain as an exchange student at the University of Cádiz,” Svetlana recalls.

After university came postgraduate studies and teaching. But her desire to explore the world proved stronger, and Svetlana spent the next 15 years working for major tour operators. Her travels have taken her from the icy landscapes of Lapland to the heat of the Kalahari. Yet the greatest treasure has never been the destinations themselves, but the emotions they bring. For Svetlana, seeing travellers return from a wonderful holiday with happy smiles is a true joy.

Then the magic happened when Svetlana met her guiding star — Milana. It was Milana who brought her to the MMA Consulting team. Svetlana has now been with us for more than seven years and admits it was one of the best decisions of her life.
